Located between St. Johann and Alpendorf, the Reithof is the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes and excursions to numerous sights. In winter, St. Johann with its Alpendorf is the first entry point to Austria’s largest ski area – Ski Amadé.

Apartments and Comfort Rooms
You can look forward to lovingly furnished double and family rooms. In the apartment building, which is connected to the main house via an underground passage, you will find apartments for 2–7 people. All of our rooms and apartments feature a balcony or terrace with a magnificent view.
Breakfast Fit for an Emperor
A good start to the day begins with a hearty breakfast buffet.
Every day from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. you’ll find everything your heart desires to start the day full of energy. We place great value on our homemade products such as our jams, apple juice and smoked bacon.
Of course, you can also book breakfast additionally when staying in an apartment.

About us
In the early 1960s, the construction of the new farmhouse of the “Reitbauer” — which is where the name “Reit” originates — laid the foundation for renting out guest rooms.
In the mid-1980s, the farming operations were leased out and, in the following years, the vacant stable building was converted. A private apartment and four holiday apartments were created and connected to the main house via an underground passage.
We, the Winkler family, now run the Reithof in the third — soon to be fourth — generation and are still delighted to welcome many regular guests who have been spending the best time of the year at the Reithof for decades.
